The Unfinished Network is a point of integration for a community of institutions working toward a more just future in technology, democracy, and the economy. Through content development, activations, joint ventures, and convenings, we bring future-oriented solutions to the forefront.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Asking Urgent Questions in the Public Square
In 2020 with the international artist collaborative Mil M2, we worked with individuals and organizations from twelve countries to generate society’s urgent questions through interactive workshops, and then display them in public spaces, generating public inquiry and dialogue.

Identifying the Economic Imperatives for the 21st Century
In 2020 we became a founding supporting partner of Imperative 21, a business-led network of organizations banding together around stakeholder capitalism to engage in collective impact strategies. Their work in 2020 included co-creating imperatives for economic system change that we must move toward to achieve shared well being on a healthy planet.
Transforming Commercial Spaces into Public Art
In 2020 with the Network Partner, For Freedoms, we commissioned artists to creatively display their urgent questions on billboards in each of the 50 states plus U.S. territories. On the heels of the 2020 election, the campaign was named one of the defining artworks of 2020 by ARTnews and launched conversations, films, and projects across the country.
